At CLI one of our primary goals is to assist employers in this area, providing top-notch service & maintenance technicians both in a national scope and in targetted areas where new people are needed immediately. And not just new people, perhaps with 9 months of online classes or book-learning under their belts - real technicians who know what they're doing from day one, and have the certifications to start doing it immediately.
Anyone can read a book, take a test, and call themselves a tech. We take a different approach to education. At CLI, students focus 85% of their energy and time into hands-on real life experience, building real skills with real equipment. Our graduates are the genuine article, having done the work to call themselves technicians under the supervision of seasoned, experienced field technicians with decades of real-life experience in the industry.
Beyond The Training
CLI graduates come from all walks of life, have completed our rigorous 5½ days per week, 9 hours per day, full time training program, have left home, invested their time, and in many cases drawn upon creditworthy family members or relatives for tuition approval. They put it all on the line. They enter the industry driven to see the rewards of these investments, maintaining a professional appearance, strong work ethic and positive, consumer friendly attitude.
By hiring a genuine article hands-on training grad, you also save significant costs and time training entry-level helpers and assistants, without also having to ‘un-train’ undesirable traits and habits. And since CLI is a trade school – not an employment agency, there are no fees or costs to contractors. We take students from anywhere in the continental United States - and you can call the shots. Tell us when you will need additional techs on staff, and we will work to find and train qualified people from your local area.
